Toby started playing tennis when he was 11 years old. As a kid he spent many years learning piano, but he could never sit still as he loved running around, so he switched to tennis and trained for about four years. Growing up he played a few tournaments back then.

After a bit of a break he picked up tennis again in 2023 and started relearning everything from the basics. At the moment, he is playing Saturday Division 5 pennants. Just like many players he still gets nervous during matches so this is one of his personal goals which he is working hard to overcome.
