Teen Programs - Term 1 2022
Enhance Yellow Teens (12+)
The Yellow Stage is not an official stage in the Hot Shots Program but it marks the time when a child is ready to play on full size courts with the standard yellow tennis ball.
Higgins Park Kids Team - Orange (8 - 13 years)
The Higgins Park Kids Team - Orange is for those players looking at improving their game and getting ready for pennants. For those who are already in a pennant team this is also a time for them to practice together and learn the basics of the game for their competition during the weekends.
Higgins Park Junior Teams - Green (10 - 13 years)
The Higgins Park Junior Team - Green is for those players progressing from the orange stage into the green one. This is the time when players begin to learn about the full court and adapt to the new conditions. For those who are already in a pennant team this is also a time for them to practice together.
Higgins Park Junior Teams - Yellow (13 - 18)
The Higgins Park Junior Team - Yellow is the last level for player looking to play in pennant teams before moving into adults. During this lessons players work on more tactics to get ahead of the game and it is the opportunity for them to have a clean striking motion in all their shots. For those who are already in a pennant team this is also a time for them to practice together.
Higgins Park Invitational Squad
The Higgins Park Invitational Squad - This is the group of players looking at further developing their skills and having more time on court. This is an invitation based squad where we focus on working on more tactics to get ahead of the game and it is the opportunity for them to have a clean striking motion in all their shots.
