Through out his playing career Ashtyn has been able to get experience coaching junior players. Previously he has coached at Hensman Park and at Kingsley Tennis Club and has been a coach with ABC Tennis since 2020.

From a very young age Ashtyn has been playing tennis as both his parents and older sister play too . Ashtyn has been playing pennants since he was 8, where he has been able to win multiple seasons along his team mates and has also won MVP. He has partaken in super 10s, has also played in the junior state league and has played in some tournaments through out his career.
