HEAD COACH
AURA BECERRA
Aura is a Tennis Australia Junior development certified tennis coach, youth leader, has certificates in business management and is studying a degree in primary school teaching at Edith Cowan University.
Aura is the best example of how our methodology works. Starting at the young age of 4, she won many trophies in Colombia throughout her sporting career before moving to Perth. As the academy grew so did Aura, as she would spend almost everyday on court helping her dad William with the lessons and learning from him everything she possibly could.
Aura represented WA in the Bruce Cup and Pizzey Cup and obtained a ranking in the top 300 women in Australia, while also upholding the number 1 ranking in her age group from ages 16 to 18. Throughout high school Aura also represented her school in local and national tournaments. Aura is also a winner of the 2017 Western UniGames representing the University of Western Australia and a very successful player in the State Tennis League. She also traveled to the US to play college tennis and is now back ready to pass on her knowledge and experiences with the younger and upcoming players.
